आ तू न॑ इन्द्र वृत्रहन्न॒स्माक॑म॒र्धमा ग॑हि । म॒हान्म॒हीभि॑रू॒तिभि॑: ॥ आ तू न इन्द्र वृत्रहन्नस्माकमर्धमा गहि । महान्महीभिरूतिभिः ॥
Indra, slayer of Vṛtra, come to us quickly; you, who are mighty, (come) with mighty protections.
english translation
भृमि॑श्चिद्घासि॒ तूतु॑जि॒रा चि॑त्र चि॒त्रिणी॒ष्वा । चि॒त्रं कृ॑णोष्यू॒तये॑ ॥ भृमिश्चिद्घासि तूतुजिरा चित्र चित्रिणीष्वा । चित्रं कृणोष्यूतये ॥
Wonderful Indra, wanderer at times (through space), you are verily the granter of (our) desires, and do what is marvellous for the protection (of those who are engaged) in wondrous works.
english translation
द॒भ्रेभि॑श्चि॒च्छशी॑यांसं॒ हंसि॒ व्राध॑न्त॒मोज॑सा । सखि॑भि॒र्ये त्वे सचा॑ ॥ दभ्रेभिश्चिच्छशीयांसं हंसि व्राधन्तमोजसा । सखिभिर्ये त्वे सचा ॥
You destroy by your might the fierce assailing foe, associated with the humble friends who are along with you.
english translation
व॒यमि॑न्द्र॒ त्वे सचा॑ व॒यं त्वा॒भि नो॑नुमः । अ॒स्माँअ॑स्माँ॒ इदुद॑व ॥ वयमिन्द्र त्वे सचा वयं त्वाभि नोनुमः । अस्माँअस्माँ इदुदव ॥
We, Indra, are along with you; we zealously glorify you; do verily protect us all.
english translation
स न॑श्चि॒त्राभि॑रद्रिवोऽनव॒द्याभि॑रू॒तिभि॑: । अना॑धृष्टाभि॒रा ग॑हि ॥ स नश्चित्राभिरद्रिवोऽनवद्याभिरूतिभिः । अनाधृष्टाभिरा गहि ॥
Wielder of the thunderbolt, do you come to us with wondrous, irreproachable, irresistible protections.
