कया॑ नश्चि॒त्र आ भु॑वदू॒ती स॒दावृ॑ध॒: सखा॑ । कया॒ शचि॑ष्ठया वृ॒ता ॥ कया नश्चित्र आ भुवदूती सदावृधः सखा । कया शचिष्ठया वृता ॥
By what means may he who is ever augmenting, who is wonderful, who is our friend, be present with us, by what most effective rite?
english translation
कस्त्वा॑ स॒त्यो मदा॑नां॒ मंहि॑ष्ठो मत्स॒दन्ध॑सः । दृ॒ळ्हा चि॑दा॒रुजे॒ वसु॑ ॥ कस्त्वा सत्यो मदानां मंहिष्ठो मत्सदन्धसः । दृळ्हा चिदारुजे वसु ॥
What genitive ine and most esteemed of the exhilarating juies of the (sacriiial) beverage may delight you to demolish the substantial treasures (of the foe)?
english translation
अ॒भी षु ण॒: सखी॑नामवि॒ता ज॑रितॄ॒णाम् । श॒तं भ॑वास्यू॒तिभि॑: ॥ अभी षु णः सखीनामविता जरितॄणाम् । शतं भवास्यूतिभिः ॥
Do you, the protector of us your friends and praisers, be present with a hundred protections.
english translation
अ॒भी न॒ आ व॑वृत्स्व च॒क्रं न वृ॒त्तमर्व॑तः । नि॒युद्भि॑श्चर्षणी॒नाम् ॥ अभी न आ ववृत्स्व चक्रं न वृत्तमर्वतः । नियुद्भिश्चर्षणीनाम् ॥
(Induced) by the praise of men, return like a revolving wheel to us, dependent (upon your favour).
english translation
प्र॒वता॒ हि क्रतू॑ना॒मा हा॑ प॒देव॒ गच्छ॑सि । अभ॑क्षि॒ सूर्ये॒ सचा॑ ॥ प्रवता हि क्रतूनामा हा पदेव गच्छसि । अभक्षि सूर्ये सचा ॥
You come in a downward (direction) to sacfred rites, as if to your own station; I glorify you together with the sun.
