ए॒तद॑स्या॒ अन॑: शये॒ सुस॑म्पिष्टं॒ विपा॒श्या । स॒सार॑ सीं परा॒वत॑: ॥ एतदस्या अनः शये सुसम्पिष्टं विपाश्या । ससार सीं परावतः ॥
Then her shattered wagon reposed (on the bank) of the Vipās' (river), and she departed from afar.
english translation
उ॒त सिन्धुं॑ विबा॒ल्यं॑ वितस्था॒नामधि॒ क्षमि॑ । परि॑ ष्ठा इन्द्र मा॒यया॑ ॥ उत सिन्धुं विबाल्यं वितस्थानामधि क्षमि । परि ष्ठा इन्द्र मायया ॥
You have spread abroad upon the earth, by your contrivance, the swollen Sindhu when arrested (on its course).
english translation
उ॒त शुष्ण॑स्य धृष्णु॒या प्र मृ॑क्षो अ॒भि वेद॑नम् । पुरो॒ यद॑स्य सम्पि॒णक् ॥ उत शुष्णस्य धृष्णुया प्र मृक्षो अभि वेदनम् । पुरो यदस्य सम्पिणक् ॥
By valour you have carried off the wealth of Śuṣṇa, when you had demolished his cities.
english translation
उ॒त दा॒सं कौ॑लित॒रं बृ॑ह॒तः पर्व॑ता॒दधि॑ । अवा॑हन्निन्द्र॒ शम्ब॑रम् ॥ उत दासं कौलितरं बृहतः पर्वतादधि । अवाहन्निन्द्र शम्बरम् ॥
You have slain the slave Śambara, the son Kulitara hurling him off the huge mountain.
english translation
उ॒त दा॒सस्य॑ व॒र्चिन॑: स॒हस्रा॑णि श॒ताव॑धीः । अधि॒ पञ्च॑ प्र॒धीँरि॑व ॥ उत दासस्य वर्चिनः सहस्राणि शतावधीः । अधि पञ्च प्रधीँरिव ॥
You have slain the five hundreds and thousands (of the followers) of the slave Varin, (surrounding) him like the fellies (round the spokes of the wheel).
