अ॒यम॒ग्निः सु॒वीर्य॒स्येशे॑ म॒हः सौभ॑गस्य । रा॒य ई॑शे स्वप॒त्यस्य॒ गोम॑त॒ ईशे॑ वृत्र॒हथा॑नाम् ॥ अयमग्निः सुवीर्यस्येशे महः सौभगस्य । राय ईशे स्वपत्यस्य गोमत ईशे वृत्रहथानाम् ॥
This Agni, is the lord of heroism and of great good fortune; he is the lord of wealth comprising progeny and cattle; he is the lord of the slayers of Vṛtra.
english translation
इ॒मं न॑रो मरुतः सश्चता॒ वृधं॒ यस्मि॒न्राय॒: शेवृ॑धासः । अ॒भि ये सन्ति॒ पृत॑नासु दू॒ढ्यो॑ वि॒श्वाहा॒ शत्रु॑माद॒भुः ॥ इमं नरो मरुतः सश्चता वृधं यस्मिन्रायः शेवृधासः । अभि ये सन्ति पृतनासु दूढ्यो विश्वाहा शत्रुमादभुः ॥
Maruts, leaders (of rites), associate with this augmenter (of our prosperity), in whom (abide) riches contributing to felicity, you who (are victorious) over (your) enemies in battle, who daily humble (your) foes.
english translation
स त्वं नो॑ रा॒यः शि॑शीहि॒ मीढ्वो॑ अग्ने सु॒वीर्य॑स्य । तुवि॑द्युम्न॒ वर्षि॑ष्ठस्य प्र॒जाव॑तोऽनमी॒वस्य॑ शु॒ष्मिण॑: ॥ स त्वं नो रायः शिशीहि मीढ्वो अग्ने सुवीर्यस्य । तुविद्युम्न वर्षिष्ठस्य प्रजावतोऽनमीवस्य शुष्मिणः ॥
Do you, opulent Agni, showerer (of benefits), prosper us with riches comprising vigour, numerous progeny health, and happiness.
english translation
चक्रि॒र्यो विश्वा॒ भुव॑ना॒भि सा॑स॒हिश्चक्रि॑र्दे॒वेष्वा दुव॑: । आ दे॒वेषु॒ यत॑त॒ आ सु॒वीर्य॒ आ शंस॑ उ॒त नृ॒णाम् ॥ चक्रिर्यो विश्वा भुवनाभि सासहिश्चक्रिर्देवेष्वा दुवः । आ देवेषु यतत आ सुवीर्य आ शंस उत नृणाम् ॥
He who is the maker pevades all worlds; he the enduring maker (of all) bears our offerings to the gods; he is present with the devout (worshippers) and amidst th eheroism and the devotions of men.
english translation
मा नो॑ अ॒ग्नेऽम॑तये॒ मावीर॑तायै रीरधः । मागोता॑यै सहसस्पुत्र॒ मा नि॒देऽप॒ द्वेषां॒स्या कृ॑धि ॥ मा नो अग्नेऽमतये मावीरतायै रीरधः । मागोतायै सहसस्पुत्र मा निदेऽप द्वेषांस्या कृधि ॥
Consign us not, Agni to malignity; (doom) us not to the absence of posterity; nor, son of strength, to the want of cattle, nor to reproach; drive away (all) animosities.
