ऋ॒जुरिच्छंसो॑ वनवद्वनुष्य॒तो दे॑व॒यन्निददे॑वयन्तम॒भ्य॑सत् । सु॒प्रा॒वीरिद्व॑नवत्पृ॒त्सु दु॒ष्टरं॒ यज्वेदय॑ज्यो॒र्वि भ॑जाति॒ भोज॑नम् ॥ ऋजुरिच्छंसो वनवद्वनुष्यतो देवयन्निददेवयन्तमभ्यसत् । सुप्रावीरिद्वनवत्पृत्सु दुष्टरं यज्वेदयज्योर्वि भजाति भोजनम् ॥
May the sincere praiser (of Brahmaṇaspati) verily overcome (his) enemies; may the worshipper of the gods overcome him assuredly who does not reverence them; may the propitiatir (of Brahmaṇaspati) overcome him who is difficult to be overcome in battles; may he who offers sacrifice appropriate the food of him who does not sacrifice.
english translation
यज॑स्व वीर॒ प्र वि॑हि मनाय॒तो भ॒द्रं मन॑: कृणुष्व वृत्र॒तूर्ये॑ । ह॒विष्कृ॑णुष्व सु॒भगो॒ यथास॑सि॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पते॒रव॒ आ वृ॑णीमहे ॥ यजस्व वीर प्र विहि मनायतो भद्रं मनः कृणुष्व वृत्रतूर्ये । हविष्कृणुष्व सुभगो यथाससि ब्रह्मणस्पतेरव आ वृणीमहे ॥
Offer worship, O man, (to Brahmaṇaspati); proceed resolutely against those who are meditating (hostility); keep your mind firm in contending against foes; offer oblations whereby you may be prosperous; we also solicit the protection of Brahmaṇaspati.
english translation
स इज्जने॑न॒ स वि॒शा स जन्म॑ना॒ स पु॒त्रैर्वाजं॑ भरते॒ धना॒ नृभि॑: । दे॒वानां॒ यः पि॒तर॑मा॒विवा॑सति श्र॒द्धाम॑ना ह॒विषा॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पति॑म् ॥ स इज्जनेन स विशा स जन्मना स पुत्रैर्वाजं भरते धना नृभिः । देवानां यः पितरमाविवासति श्रद्धामना हविषा ब्रह्मणस्पतिम् ॥
He who with a believing mind worships Brahmaṇaspati, the father of the gods, with oblations, he verily receives food, together with his sons, his kindred, his descendants, his people, and (obtains) riches together with (all) men.
english translation
यो अ॑स्मै ह॒व्यैर्घृ॒तव॑द्भि॒रवि॑ध॒त्प्र तं प्रा॒चा न॑यति॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पति॑: । उ॒रु॒ष्यती॒मंह॑सो॒ रक्ष॑ती रि॒षों॒३॒॑ऽहोश्चि॑दस्मा उरु॒चक्रि॒रद्भु॑तः ॥ यो अस्मै हव्यैर्घृतवद्भिरविधत्प्र तं प्राचा नयति ब्रह्मणस्पतिः । उरुष्यतीमंहसो रक्षती रिषोंऽहोश्चिदस्मा उरुचक्रिरद्भुतः ॥
Brahmaṇaspati leads by a straight path (to his reward), the worshipper who propitiates him with oblations of butter; he guards him against sin; he protects him from foes and from distress; and wonderful (in might) confers upon him many (favours).
