स॒मो॒हे वा॒ य आश॑त॒ नर॑स्तो॒कस्य॒ सनि॑तौ । विप्रा॑सो वा धिया॒यव॑: ॥ समोहे वा य आशत नरस्तोकस्य सनितौ । विप्रासो वा धियायवः ॥
Whatever men have recourse to Indra in battle, or for the acquisition of offspring, and the wise who are desirous of understanding (obtain their desires).
english translation
यः कु॒क्षिः सो॑म॒पात॑मः समु॒द्र इ॑व॒ पिन्व॑ते । उ॒र्वीरापो॒ न का॒कुद॑: ॥ यः कुक्षिः सोमपातमः समुद्र इव पिन्वते । उर्वीरापो न काकुदः ॥
The belly of Indra, which quaffs the Soma juice abundantly, swells like the ocean, (and is ever) moist, like the ample fluids of the palate.
english translation
ए॒वा ह्य॑स्य सू॒नृता॑ विर॒प्शी गोम॑ती म॒ही । प॒क्वा शाखा॒ न दा॒शुषे॑ ॥ एवा ह्यस्य सूनृता विरप्शी गोमती मही । पक्वा शाखा न दाशुषे ॥
Verily the words of Indra to his worshipper are true, manifold, cow- conferring, and to be held in honour; (they are) like a branch (loaded with) ripe (fruit).
english translation
ए॒वा हि ते॒ विभू॑तय ऊ॒तय॑ इन्द्र॒ माव॑ते । स॒द्यश्चि॒त्सन्ति॑ दा॒शुषे॑ ॥ एवा हि ते विभूतय ऊतय इन्द्र मावते । सद्यश्चित्सन्ति दाशुषे ॥
Verily, Indra, your glories are at all times the protectors of every such worshipper as I am.
english translation
ए॒वा ह्य॑स्य॒ काम्या॒ स्तोम॑ उ॒क्थं च॒ शंस्या॑ । इन्द्रा॑य॒ सोम॑पीतये ॥ एवा ह्यस्य काम्या स्तोम उक्थं च शंस्या । इन्द्राय सोमपीतये ॥
Verily his chanted and recited praises are to be desired and repeated to Indra, that he may drink the Soma juice.
