दे॒व॒यन्तो॒ यथा॑ म॒तिमच्छा॑ वि॒दद्व॑सुं॒ गिर॑: । म॒हाम॑नूषत श्रु॒तम् ॥ देवयन्तो यथा मतिमच्छा विदद्वसुं गिरः । महामनूषत श्रुतम् ॥
The reciters of praises praise the mighty (troop of Maruts), who are celebrated, and conscious of the power of bestowing wealth, in like manner as they (glorify) the counsellor (Indra).

de॒va॒yanto॒ yathA॑ ma॒timacchA॑ vi॒dadva॑suM॒ gira॑: । ma॒hAma॑nUSata zru॒tam ॥ devayanto yathA matimacchA vidadvasuM giraH । mahAmanUSata zrutam ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइन्द्रे॑ण॒ सं हि दृक्ष॑से संजग्मा॒नो अबि॑भ्युषा । म॒न्दू स॑मा॒नव॑र्चसा ॥ इन्द्रेण सं हि दृक्षसे संजग्मानो अबिभ्युषा । मन्दू समानवर्चसा ॥
May you be seen, Maruts, accompanied by the undaunted Indra; (both) rejoicing, and of equal splendour.

indre॑Na॒ saM hi dRkSa॑se saMjagmA॒no abi॑bhyuSA । ma॒ndU sa॑mA॒nava॑rcasA ॥ indreNa saM hi dRkSase saMjagmAno abibhyuSA । mandU samAnavarcasA ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअ॒न॒व॒द्यैर॒भिद्यु॑भिर्म॒खः सह॑स्वदर्चति । ग॒णैरिन्द्र॑स्य॒ काम्यै॑: ॥ अनवद्यैरभिद्युभिर्मखः सहस्वदर्चति । गणैरिन्द्रस्य काम्यैः ॥
This right is performed in adoration of the powerful Indra, along with the irreproachable, heavenward- tending, and amiable bands (of the Maruts).
english translation
a॒na॒va॒dyaira॒bhidyu॑bhirma॒khaH saha॑svadarcati । ga॒Nairindra॑sya॒ kAmyai॑: ॥ anavadyairabhidyubhirmakhaH sahasvadarcati । gaNairindrasya kAmyaiH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअत॑: परिज्म॒न्ना ग॑हि दि॒वो वा॑ रोच॒नादधि॑ । सम॑स्मिन्नृञ्जते॒ गिर॑: ॥ अतः परिज्मन्ना गहि दिवो वा रोचनादधि । समस्मिन्नृञ्जते गिरः ॥
Therefore, circumambient (troop of Maruts), come hither, whether from the region of the sky or from the solar sphere; for in this rite (the priest) fully recites your praises.

ata॑: parijma॒nnA ga॑hi di॒vo vA॑ roca॒nAdadhi॑ । sama॑sminnRJjate॒ gira॑: ॥ ataH parijmannA gahi divo vA rocanAdadhi । samasminnRJjate giraH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइ॒तो वा॑ सा॒तिमीम॑हे दि॒वो वा॒ पार्थि॑वा॒दधि॑ । इन्द्रं॑ म॒हो वा॒ रज॑सः ॥ इतो वा सातिमीमहे दिवो वा पार्थिवादधि । इन्द्रं महो वा रजसः ॥
We invoke, Indra, whether he come from this earthly region, or from the heaven above, or from the vast firmament; that he may give (us) wealth.
