मरु॑तो वीळुपा॒णिभि॑श्चि॒त्रा रोध॑स्वती॒रनु॑ । या॒तेमखि॑द्रयामभिः ॥ मरुतो वीळुपाणिभिश्चित्रा रोधस्वतीरनु । यातेमखिद्रयामभिः ॥
Maruts, with strong hands, come along the beautifully-embanked rivers, with obstructed progress.
english translation
स्थि॒रा व॑: सन्तु ने॒मयो॒ रथा॒ अश्वा॑स एषाम् । सुसं॑स्कृता अ॒भीश॑वः ॥ स्थिरा वः सन्तु नेमयो रथा अश्वास एषाम् । सुसंस्कृता अभीशवः ॥
May the felloes of your wheels be firm; may your cars and their steeds be steady, and your fingers well-skilled (to hold the reins).
english translation
अच्छा॑ वदा॒ तना॑ गि॒रा ज॒रायै॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पति॑म् । अ॒ग्निं मि॒त्रं न द॑र्श॒तम् ॥ अच्छा वदा तना गिरा जरायै ब्रह्मणस्पतिम् । अग्निं मित्रं न दर्शतम् ॥
Declare in our presence, (priests), with voice attuned to praise Brahmaṇaspati (lord of the sacriricial food), Agni and the beautiful Mitra.
english translation
मि॒मी॒हि श्लोक॑मा॒स्ये॑ प॒र्जन्य॑ इव ततनः । गाय॑ गाय॒त्रमु॒क्थ्य॑म् ॥ मिमीहि श्लोकमास्ये पर्जन्य इव ततनः । गाय गायत्रमुक्थ्यम् ॥
Utter the verse that is in your mouths, spread it out like a cloud spreading rain; chant the measured hymn.

वन्द॑स्व॒ मारु॑तं ग॒णं त्वे॒षं प॑न॒स्युम॒र्किण॑म् । अ॒स्मे वृ॒द्धा अ॑सन्नि॒ह ॥ वन्दस्व मारुतं गणं त्वेषं पनस्युमर्किणम् । अस्मे वृद्धा असन्निह ॥
Glorify the host of Maruts, brilliant, deserving of praise, entitled to adoration; may they be exalted by this our worship.
