इ॒हेन्द्रा॒ग्नी उप॑ ह्वये॒ तयो॒रित्स्तोम॑मुश्मसि । ता सोमं॑ सोम॒पात॑मा ॥ इहेन्द्राग्नी उप ह्वये तयोरित्स्तोममुश्मसि । ता सोमं सोमपातमा ॥
Invoke hither Indra and Agni, to whom we desire to present our praise; let them, who are both copious drinkers of the Soma juice, (accept the libation).

i॒hendrA॒gnI upa॑ hvaye॒ tayo॒ritstoma॑muzmasi । tA somaM॑ soma॒pAta॑mA ॥ ihendrAgnI upa hvaye tayoritstomamuzmasi । tA somaM somapAtamA ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptता य॒ज्ञेषु॒ प्र शं॑सतेन्द्रा॒ग्नी शु॑म्भता नरः । ता गा॑य॒त्रेषु॑ गायत ॥ ता यज्ञेषु प्र शंसतेन्द्राग्नी शुम्भता नरः । ता गायत्रेषु गायत ॥
Praise, men, Indra and Agni, in sacrifices, decorate them (with ornaments) and hymn them with hymns.

tA ya॒jJeSu॒ pra zaM॑satendrA॒gnI zu॑mbhatA naraH । tA gA॑ya॒treSu॑ gAyata ॥ tA yajJeSu pra zaMsatendrAgnI zumbhatA naraH । tA gAyatreSu gAyata ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptता मि॒त्रस्य॒ प्रश॑स्तय इन्द्रा॒ग्नी ता ह॑वामहे । सो॒म॒पा सोम॑पीतये ॥ ता मित्रस्य प्रशस्तय इन्द्राग्नी ता हवामहे । सोमपा सोमपीतये ॥
We invoke Indra and Agni, for the benefit of our friend (the instrumental tutor of the rite), drinkers of the Soma juice, to drink the libation.
english translation
tA mi॒trasya॒ praza॑staya indrA॒gnI tA ha॑vAmahe । so॒ma॒pA soma॑pItaye ॥ tA mitrasya prazastaya indrAgnI tA havAmahe । somapA somapItaye ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउ॒ग्रा सन्ता॑ हवामह॒ उपे॒दं सव॑नं सु॒तम् । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी एह ग॑च्छताम् ॥ उग्रा सन्ता हवामह उपेदं सवनं सुतम् । इन्द्राग्नी एह गच्छताम् ॥
We invoke the two who are fierce (to their foes) to attend the rite, where the libation is prepared; Indra and Agni, come hither.

u॒grA santA॑ havAmaha॒ upe॒daM sava॑naM su॒tam । i॒ndrA॒gnI eha ga॑cchatAm ॥ ugrA santA havAmaha upedaM savanaM sutam । indrAgnI eha gacchatAm ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptता म॒हान्ता॒ सद॒स्पती॒ इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ रक्ष॑ उब्जतम् । अप्र॑जाः सन्त्व॒त्रिण॑: ॥ ता महान्ता सदस्पती इन्द्राग्नी रक्ष उब्जतम् । अप्रजाः सन्त्वत्रिणः ॥
May those two, Indra and Agni who are mighty, and guardians of the assembly, render the Rākṣas innocuous, and may the devourers (of men) be destitute of progeny.
