शूले हिंस्त्रः क्रोधशीलो दरिद्रः पाषण्डी स्याद् द्रव्यहीनो युगाख्ये । निस्वः पापी म्लेच्छयुक्तः कुशिल्पी गोले जातश्चालसोऽल्पायुरेव ॥ ४१॥
The person born in the Sula Yoga will be cruel, of an angry temperament, and indigent. The man whose birth is in the Yuga Yoga will be heretical and without wealth. He who is born in the Gola Yoga will be without wealth, will commit sinful deeds, and associate with low people. He will be a bad artisan, indolent and shortlived.

zUle hiMstraH krodhazIlo daridraH pASaNDI syAd dravyahIno yugAkhye । nisvaH pApI mlecchayuktaH kuzilpI gole jAtazcAlaso'lpAyureva ॥ 41॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसौम्यैरिन्दोर्द्यूनषड्रन्ध्रसंस्थैस्तद्वल्लग्नात्संस्थितैर्वाधियोगः । नेता मन्त्री भूपतिः स्यात्क्रमेण ख्यातः श्रीमान्दीर्घजीवी मनस्वी ॥ ४२॥
When benefic planets occupy the 7 th, the 6 th and the 8 th places reckoned from the Moon or the Lagna, there results what is called the Adhiyoga wherein takes place the birth of a Commander (Police Superintendent or head), a minister or a ruler (of a District or Province) respectively. He who is born in the Adhiyoga becomes famous, prosperous, wealthy, long-lived and high-souled.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptअधियोगभवो नरेश्वंरः स्थिरसम्पद्बहुबन्धुपोषकः । अमुना रिपवः पराजिताह्चिरमायुर्लभते प्रसिद्धताम् ॥ ४३॥
The person born in the Adhiyoga will become the lord of men, will be wealthy throughout life (have everlasting wealth), will feed many of his relations, will overthrow his enemies, enjoy long life and become widely renowned,

adhiyogabhavo narezvaMraH sthirasampadbahubandhupoSakaH । amunA ripavaH parAjitAhciramAyurlabhate prasiddhatAm ॥ 43॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभावैः सौम्ययुतेक्षितैस्तदधिपैः सुस्थानगैर्भास्वरैः स्वोच्चस्वर्क्षगतैर्विलग्नभवनाद्योगाः क्रमाद्द्वादश । संज्ञाश्चामरधेनुशौर्यजलधिच्छत्रास्त्रक मासुरा- भाग्यख्यातिसुपारिजातमुसलास्तज्ज्ञैर्यथा कीर्तिताः ॥ ४४॥
Bhavas being occupied or aspected by benefics, their lords occupying good houses or being brilliant and in their exaltation or Swakshetra, constitute certain Yogas and there are 12 such for the 12 Bhavas from the Lagna onwards. Their names are in their order:-(1) Chamara , ( 2 ) Dhenu , ( 3 ) Saurya, ( 4 ) Jaladhi, (5) Chhatra, (6) Astra , ( 7 ) Kama, (8) Asura , ( 9 ) Bhagya , ( 10 ) Khyati , ( 11 ) Suparijata and ( 12 ) Musala .

bhAvaiH saumyayutekSitaistadadhipaiH susthAnagairbhAsvaraiH svoccasvarkSagatairvilagnabhavanAdyogAH kramAddvAdaza । saMjJAzcAmaradhenuzauryajaladhicchatrAstraka mAsurA- bhAgyakhyAtisupArijAtamusalAstajjJairyathA kIrtitAH ॥ 44॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रत्यहं व्रजति वृदिमुदग्रं शुक्लचन्द्र इव शोभनशीलः । कीर्तिमान् जनपतिश्चिरजीवी श्रीनिधिर्भवति चामरजातः ॥ ४५॥
The person born in the Chamarayoga will every day be growing in importance like the waxing Moon and will be of a virtuous disposition. He will become famous, a leader of men, longlived and a store-house of prosperity.

pratyahaM vrajati vRdimudagraM zuklacandra iva zobhanazIlaH । kIrtimAn janapatizcirajIvI zrInidhirbhavati cAmarajAtaH ॥ 45॥
