Phaladeepika
तृप्ति पितॄणामिह पञ्चदश्यां कृष्ंए दशम्याः परतोऽतियत्नात् । पक्षत्रिभागेष्वपि नागराजं स्कन्दं च सेवेत हरी क्रमेण ॥ १८॥
On this fifteenth lunar day, one should diligently provide satisfaction to the ancestors. From the tenth day of the dark fortnight onward, during the three divisions of the lunar half, one should successively worship the serpent king, Skanda, and Hari.
