दुःखांघ्रिवामनयनक्षयसूचकान्त्य- दरिद्र्यपापशयनव्ययरिःफबन्धान् । भावाह्व्या निगदिताः क्रमशोऽथ लीन- स्थानं त्रिषड्व्ययपराभवराशिनाम् ॥ १६॥
The designations used for the 12 th house are Duhkha (misery), Anghri (leg), Vama Nayana (left eye), Kshaya (loss, decline), Suchaka (a tale-bearer, spy), Anthya (last), Daridrya (poverty), Papa (sin), Sayana (bed), Vyaya Ripha , and Bandha (imprisonment). Thus have been declared in their order the names of the 12 houses. The 3 rd, the the 6 th, the 12 th and the 8 th houses are termed Leena Stthanas (concealed or hidden houses).
