Patanjali Yog Sutra
वस्तुसाम्ये चित्तभेदात्तयोर्विभक्तः पन्थाः ॥४-१५॥
In spite of the sameness of objects, on account of there being separate minds they (the object and its knowledge) follow different paths, that is why they are entirely different.
english translation
वस्तु या पदार्थ के एक समान होने पर भी चित्त अर्थात ज्ञान में अन्तर होने से उन दोनों अर्थात वस्तु और उसके ज्ञान में भी अन्तर दिखाई देता है ।
