Patanjali Yog Sutra
शान्तोदिताव्यपदेश्यधर्मानुपाती धर्मी ॥३-१४॥
The substratum is that in which the properties- Quieted, arisen, and indistinguishable (past, present, and future).

किसी भी पदार्थ के अतीत, वर्तमान व भविष्य धर्मों ( गुणों ) में सदा विद्यमान रहने वाला वह धर्मी (पदार्थ का मूल तत्त्व ) होता है ।
