प्रमाणविपर्ययविकल्पनिद्रास्मृतयः ॥१-६॥

Those vrittis are - (1) Right knowledge (2) Indiscrimination (3) Verbal misconception (4)sleep (5) memory.

प्रत्यक्षानुमानागमाः प्रमाणानि ॥१-७॥

sanskrit

Pratyaksha (gained from sense organs), Anumana (inference of the thing which is not clear) and Agamah (knowledge of Vedas and words of enlightened people) are sources of right knowledge.

विपर्ययो मिथ्याज्ञानमतद्रूपप्रतिष्ठम् ॥१-८II

sanskrit

Viparyay (Indiscrimination) is false knowledge which is not based in real nature of its object. Like mistaking a rope lying in the dark for a snake.

शब्दज्ञानानुपाती वस्तुशून्यो विकल्पः ॥१-९॥

sanskrit

when some knowledge comes out of from a particular word or a thing (substance,subject) but that thing does not exist in reality. Imagining of this type of things known as Vikalpa (verbal misconception).

अभावप्रत्ययालम्बना वृत्तिर्निद्रा ॥१-१०॥

sanskrit

The condition which is devoid of knowledge of the waking and dream states of the body. That vritti ( modification of chitta) is called Nidra (sleep).
