एषः सलिलप्रदाने भुजगतौ तोयसेचने चैव । आस्फोटने च योज्यः करिकुम्भास्फालनाद्येषु ॥ ८५॥

(Uses): It is used to represent the offering of water, movement of serpents, pouring water ॥ on anything॥, challenging ॥ for a duel॥, motion of the elephant’s frontal globes (kumhba) and the like.

english translation

eSaH salilapradAne bhujagatau toyasecane caiva । AsphoTane ca yojyaH karikumbhAsphAlanAdyeSu ॥ 85॥
