स्वस्तिकविच्युइतिकरणाद् दिशो घनाः खं वनं समुद्राश्च । ऋतवो मही तथौघं विस्तीर्णं चाभिनेयं स्यात् ॥ १३६॥
(Uses): When the hands are separated from the Svastika position, it will indicate directions, clouds, the sky, forests, seas, seasons, the earth and similar ॥ other॥ extensive things.

svastikavicyuitikaraNAd dizo ghanAH khaM vanaM samudrAzca । Rtavo mahI tathaughaM vistIrNaM cAbhineyaM syAt ॥ 136॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptखटकः खटके न्यस्तः खटकावर्धमानकः । शृङ्गारार्थेषु योक्तव्यः प्रणामकरणे तथा ॥ १३७॥
Kaṭakāvardhamānaka—When one Kaṭakā (mukha) hand is placed on ॥ the wrist of॥ another Kaṭakā ॥ mukha॥ hand, the Kaṭakāvardhamānaka hand will be produced. (Uses): It is to be used in movements connected with love-making and in bowing ॥ to a person॥.

khaTakaH khaTake nyastaH khaTakAvardhamAnakaH । zaRGgArArtheSu yoktavyaH praNAmakaraNe tathA ॥ 137॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्ये - कुमुदीतालवृन्तेषु कर्तव्यश्छत्रधरणे । इति ॥ १३८॥
Others—It should be used to represent the stalks of the white water-lily and the tāla tree, as well as for holding an umbrella.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptअरालौ तु विपर्यस्तावुत्तानौ वर्धमानकौ । उत्सङ्ग इति विज्ञेयः स्पर्शस्य ग्रहणे करः ॥ १३९॥
Utsaṅga—When the Arāla hands are contrarily placed and are held upturned and bent, the Utsaṅga hand will be the result. (Uses): It is used to indicate feeling of touch.

arAlau tu viparyastAvuttAnau vardhamAnakau । utsaGga iti vijJeyaH sparzasya grahaNe karaH ॥ 139॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसनिष्पेषकृते चैव रोमामर्षकृतेऽपि च । निष्पीडितः पुनश्चैव स्त्रीणामीर्ष्याकृते भवेत् ॥ १४०॥
It is also used to indicate acts of anger and indignation, in pressing of hands similar to women’s acts of jealousy.

saniSpeSakRte caiva romAmarSakRte'pi ca । niSpIDitaH punazcaiva strINAmIrSyAkRte bhavet ॥ 140॥
