विवर्तितं समुद्वृत्तं स्फुरितं स्पन्दितं तथा । स्थगितं पिहितं प्रोक्तमाहतं तु विताडितम् ॥ ११४॥

sanskrit

Vivartita (raising up)—raising up the eyelids. Sphurita (throbbing)—when the eyelids are throbbing. Pihita (resting)—when the eyelids are at rest (lit. closed). Vitāḍita (driven)—when the eyelids are struck [accidentally].

english translation

vivartitaM samudvRttaM sphuritaM spanditaM tathA | sthagitaM pihitaM proktamAhataM tu vitADitam || 114||
