अल्पाभिधानेनार्थो यः समासेनोच्यते बुधैः । सूत्रतः साऽनुमतव्या कारिकार्थप्रदर्शिनी ॥ ११॥
The meaning that is expressed with a concise term, which is mentioned by the wise, should be accepted as valid, as it shows the purpose of the sutra.
english translation
alpAbhidhAnenArtho yaH samAsenocyate budhaiH । sUtrataH sA'numatavyA kArikArthapradarzinI ॥ 11॥
