एवं पञ्चपदीं गत्वा सूत्रधारः सहेतरः । सूचीं वामपदे दद्याद्विक्षेपं दक्षिणेन च ॥ ७१॥

Having thus performed the five-step movement, the sutradhara, along with the others, should position the needle gesture with the left foot and execute the displacement with the right.

english translation

evaM paJcapadIM gatvA sUtradhAraH sahetaraH । sUcIM vAmapade dadyAdvikSepaM dakSiNena ca ॥ 71॥
