Natyashastra
यस्यां ह्रस्वानि शेषाणि सा ज्ञेया त्वङ्किता बुधैः । अस्याः प्रयोगं वक्ष्यामि यथा पूर्वं महेश्वरः ॥ ११८॥
That in which the remaining ones are short, should be known as marked with a dot by the wise. I shall explain the application of this, as previously stated by Maheśvara.
