श्रुतं मया देवदेवात् तत्त्वतः शङ्कराद्धितम् । स्नानजप्यसहस्रेभ्यः पवित्रं गीतवादितम् ॥ २७॥
What I have heard from Lord Shankara, the Supreme Deity, is that the chanting, the singing, and the playing of instruments, performed with sacred purity from the bath and repeated a thousand times, will be sanctified.
