Natyashastra
लक्ष्यलक्षणसम्पन्ना मार्गयुक्तविधि(धिः) क्रमैः । वर्धमानप्रयोक्तारो यास्यन्ति शिवगोचरम् ॥ ७०॥
Those who perform the Vardhamāna (rite), endowed with the proper characteristics of aim and procedure, and following the prescribed order and method, shall attain the abode of Śiva.
