Natyashastra
महाजनिकमेकाङ्गं द्व्यङ्गं संहरणं भवेत् । स्थितादिकः प्रवृत्ताङ्ग एवमन्तर्विधं बुधैः ॥ २६८॥
The Mahājanika should have one limb, and the Saṃhara should have two. Thus, beginning with Sthita and ending with Pravṛtta, the wise know this as the rule of the Anta (ending section).
