Natyashastra
अन्तयोर्द्वादशाङ्गे तु तथान्यपदमिष्यते । उल्लोप्यकेऽपि चाङ्गानामेष एव विधिः स्मृतः ॥ १९८॥
In the twelve-limbed Oveṇaka, the final limbs are composed of the remaining Padas in the same way. The same rule is observed for the omitted limbs as well.
english translation
antayordvAdazAGge tu tathAnyapadamiSyate । ullopyake'pi cAGgAnAmeSa eva vidhiH smRtaH ॥ 198॥
