पूर्वदक्षिणतो वह्निर्निवेश्यः स्वाहया सह । विश्वेदेवाः सगन्धर्वा रुद्राः सर्पगणास्तथा ॥ २६॥

In the southeast, Agni should be placed along with Svāhā, along with the Viśvedevas, the Gandharvas, the Rudras, and the groups of serpents.

english translation

pUrvadakSiNato vahnirnivezyaH svAhayA saha । vizvedevAH sagandharvA rudrAH sarpagaNAstathA ॥ 26॥
