लोकप्रसिद्धं द्रव्यन्तु यदा नाट्ये प्रयुज्यते । मूर्तिमत् साभिलाषञ्च नाट्यधर्मी तु सा स्मृता ॥ ७४॥
When a commonly known substance is used in a drama, which is tangible and associated with a particular desire or intention, it is considered to be in accordance with the theatrical tradition.
english translation
lokaprasiddhaM dravyantu yadA nATye prayujyate । mUrtimat sAbhilASaJca nATyadharmI tu sA smRtA ॥ 74॥
