एभिरेव विपर्यस्तैर्गुणैरन्येषु योजयेत् । तथा व्रतानुगावस्था ह्यन्येषां लिङ्गिनां गतिः ॥ ८५॥

With qualities opposite to these, other types ॥ of ascetics॥ are to be assigned different gaits accordingly. Thus, according to their vows and stages, the gait of other marked ones is to be adapted.

english translation

ebhireva viparyastairguNairanyeSu yojayet । tathA vratAnugAvasthA hyanyeSAM liGginAM gatiH ॥ 85॥
