कर्णादष्टाङ्गुलस्थे च बाहुशीर्षे प्रयोजयेत् । उरसश्चापि चिबुकं चतुरङ्गुलसंस्थितम् ॥ ६॥
The shoulders and head should be positioned eight Aṅgulas away from the ears, and the chin should be placed four Aṅgulas away from the chest.
english translation
हस्तौ तथैव कर्तव्यौ कटीनाभितटस्थितौ । दक्षिणो नाभिसंस्थस्तु वामः कटितटस्थितः ॥ ७॥
Similarly, the two hands should be positioned at the region between the waist and the navel, the right hand placed near the navel, and the left hand at the left side of the waist.

पादयोरन्तरं कार्यं द्वौ तालावर्धमेव च । पादोत्क्षेपस्तु कर्तव्यः स्वप्रमाणविनिर्मितः ॥ ८॥
The interval between the two feet should be two and a half Tālas, and the raising of the feet should be done according to one's own measure.

चतुस्तालो द्वितालश्चाप्येकतालस्तथैव च । चतुस्तालस्तु देवानां पार्थिवानां तथैव च ॥ ९॥
Four Tālas, two Tālas, and also one Tāla — four Tālas are prescribed for gods and kings.

द्वितालश्चैव मध्यानां तालः स्त्रीनीचलिङ्गिनाम् । चतुष्कलोऽथ द्विकलस्तथा ह्येककलः स्मृतः ॥ १०॥
