यदेतत्प्रस्तुतं नाट्यं तच्चारीष्वेव संज्ञितम् । नहि चार्या विना किञ्चिन्नाट्येऽङ्गं सम्प्रवर्तते ॥ ६॥
Whatever has been described as Histrionic Representation is included in the Cārīs, and no part of it can take place without the same.
english translation
yadetatprastutaM nATyaM taccArISveva saMjJitam । nahi cAryA vinA kiJcinnATye'GgaM sampravartate ॥ 6॥
