कुञ्चितं पादमुत्क्षिप्य जानुस्तनसमं न्यसेत् । द्वितीयं च क्रमात् स्तब्धमूर्ध्वजानुः प्रकीर्तिता ॥ ३३॥

sanskrit

Ūrdhvajānu—throwing up a Kuñcita foot and its knee brought up to the level of the breast, and the remaining knee without movement, and then this second foot thrown up in the manner of the first, and the first foot kept motionless.

english translation

kuJcitaM pAdamutkSipya jAnustanasamaM nyaset | dvitIyaM ca kramAt stabdhamUrdhvajAnuH prakIrtitA || 33||
