देवानां वचनं श्रुत्वा ब्रह्मा विघ्नानुवाच ह । कस्माद्भवन्तो नाट्यस्य विनाशाय समुत्थिताः ॥ १०१॥

After hearing the words of the gods, Brahma spoke to the obstacles: 'Why have you arisen to destroy the drama?'

english translation

devAnAM vacanaM zrutvA brahmA vighnAnuvAca ha । kasmAdbhavanto nATyasya vinAzAya samutthitAH ॥ 101॥
