शय्याऽऽसनमलङ्कारं कामं क्रोधमनार्जवम् । द्रोहभावं कुचर्यां च स्त्रीभ्यो मनुरकल्पयत् ॥ १७ ॥

sanskrit

(When creating them) Manu allotted to women (a love of their) bed, (of their) seat and (of) ornament, impure desires, wrath, dishonesty, malice, and bad conduct.

english translation

zayyA''sanamalaGkAraM kAmaM krodhamanArjavam | drohabhAvaM kucaryAM ca strIbhyo manurakalpayat || 17 ||
