स्कन्धेनादाय मुसलं लगुडं वाऽपि खादिरम् । शक्तिं चोभयतस्तीक्ष्णामायसं दण्डमेव वा ॥ ३१५ ॥
(And he must) carry on his shoulder a pestle, or a club of Khadira wood, or a spear sharp at both ends, or an iron staff.
