Manusmriti
यः क्षिप्तो मर्षयत्यार्तैस्तेन स्वर्गे महीयते । यस्त्वैश्वर्यान्न क्षमते नरकं तेन गच्छति ॥ ३१३ ॥
He who, being abused by men in pain, pardons (them), will in reward of that (act) be exalted in heaven; but he who, (proud) of his kingly state, forgives them not, will for that (reason) sink into hell.
english translation
yaH kSipto marSayatyArtaistena svarge mahIyate । yastvaizvaryAnna kSamate narakaM tena gacchati ॥ 313 ॥
