Manusmriti
शिरोभिस्ते गृहीत्वोर्वीं स्रग्विणो रक्तवाससः । सुकृतैः शापिताः स्वैः स्वैर्नयेयुस्ते समञ्जसम् ॥ २५६ ॥
Let them, putting earth on their heads, wearing chaplets (of red flowers) and red dresses, being sworn each by (the rewards for) his meritorious deeds, settle (the boundary) in accordance with the truth.
english translation
zirobhiste gRhItvorvIM sragviNo raktavAsasaH । sukRtaiH zApitAH svaiH svairnayeyuste samaJjasam ॥ 256 ॥
