यस्मिन् यस्मिन् कृते कार्ये यस्येहानुशयो भवेत् । तमनेन विधानेन धर्म्ये पथि निवेशयेत् ॥ २२८ ॥

sanskrit

If anybody in this (world) repent of any completed transaction, (the king) shall keep him on the road of rectitude in accordance with the rules given above.

english translation

yasmin yasmin kRte kArye yasyehAnuzayo bhavet । tamanena vidhAnena dharmye pathi nivezayet ॥ 228 ॥
