निक्षेपस्यापहर्तारं तत्समं दापयेद् दमम् । तथोपनिधिहर्तारमविशेषेण पार्थिवः ॥ १९२ ॥

The king should compel him who does not restore an open deposit, and in like manner him who retains a sealed deposit, to pay a fine equal (to its value).

nikSepasyApahartAraM tatsamaM dApayed damam | tathopanidhihartAramavizeSeNa pArthivaH || 192 ||
