प्रहर्षयेद् बलं व्यूह्य तांश्च सम्यक् परीक्षयेत् । चेष्टाश्चैव विजानीयादरीन् योधयतामपि ॥ १९४ ॥

After arranging his troops, he should encourage them (by an address) and carefully inspect them; he should also mark the behaviour (of the soldiers) when they engage the enemy.

praharSayed balaM vyUhya tAMzca samyak parIkSayet । ceSTAzcaiva vijAnIyAdarIn yodhayatAmapi ॥ 194 ॥
