तस्यार्थे सर्वभूतानां गोप्तारं धर्ममात्मजम् । ब्रह्मतेजोमयं दण्डमसृजत् पूर्वमीश्वरः ॥ १४ ॥

sanskrit

For the (king’s) sake the Lord formerly created his own son, Punishment, the protector of all creatures, (an incarnation of) the law, formed of Brahman’s glory.

english translation

tasyArthe sarvabhUtAnAM goptAraM dharmamAtmajam । brahmatejomayaM daNDamasRjat pUrvamIzvaraH ॥ 14 ॥
