अह्ना रात्र्या च याञ्जन्तून् हिनस्त्यज्ञानतो यतिः । तेषां स्नात्वा विशुद्ध्यर्थं प्राणायामान् षडाचरेत् ॥ ६९ ॥

sanskrit

In order to expiate (the death) of those creatures which he unintentionally injures by day or by night, an ascetic shall bathe and perform six suppressions of the breath.

english translation

ahnA rAtryA ca yAJjantUn hinastyajJAnato yatiH | teSAM snAtvA vizuddhyarthaM prANAyAmAn SaDAcaret || 69 ||
