यथाइदं शावम् आशौचं सपिण्डेषु विधीयते । जनने अप्येवम् एव स्यात् निपुणं शुद्धिम् इच्चताम् ॥ ६१ ॥

sanskrit

As this impurity on account of a death is prescribed for (all) Sapindas, even so it shall be (held) on a birth by those who desire to be absolutely pure.

english translation

yathAidaM zAvam AzaucaM sapiNDeSu vidhIyate । janane apyevam eva syAt nipuNaM zuddhim iccatAm ॥ 61 ॥
