न मांसभक्षणे दोषो न मद्ये न च मैथुने । प्रवृत्तिरेषा भूतानां निवृत्तिस्तु महाफला ॥ ५६ ॥

sanskrit

There is no sin in eating meat, in (drinking) spirituous liquor, and in carnal intercourse, for that is the natural way of created beings, but abstention brings great rewards.

english translation

na mAMsabhakSaNe doSo na madye na ca maithune | pravRttireSA bhUtAnAM nivRttistu mahAphalA || 56 ||
