यदि हि स्त्री न रोचेत पुमांसं न प्रमोदयेत् । अप्रमोदात् पुनः पुंसः प्रजनं न प्रवर्तते ॥ ६१ ॥

sanskrit

For if the wife is not radiant with beauty, she will not attract her husband; but if she has no attractions for him, no children will be born.

english translation

yadi hi strI na roceta pumAMsaM na pramodayet । apramodAt punaH puMsaH prajanaM na pravartate ॥ 61 ॥
