Manusmriti
इन्द्रियाणां प्रसङ्गेन दोषं ऋच्छत्यसंशयम् । संनियम्य तु तान्येव ततः सिद्धिं निगच्छति ॥ ९३ ॥
Through the attachment of his organs (to sensual pleasure) a man doubtlessly will incur guilt; but if he keep them under complete control, he will obtain success (in gaining all his aims).
english translation
indriyANAM prasaGgena doSaM RcchatyasaMzayam । saMniyamya tu tAnyeva tataH siddhiM nigacchati ॥ 93 ॥
