पुण्यान्यन्यानि कुर्वीत श्रद्दधानो जितेन्द्रियः । न त्वल्पदक्षिणैर्यज्ञैर्यजेतेह कथं चन ॥ ३९ ॥

sanskrit

Let him who has faith and controls his senses perform other meritorious acts, but let him on no account offer sacrifices at which he gives smaller fees (than those prescribed).

english translation

puNyAnyanyAni kurvIta zraddadhAno jitendriyaH | na tvalpadakSiNairyajJairyajeteha kathaM cana || 39 ||
