Manusmriti
ऋषयः संयतात्मानः फलमूलानिलाशनाः । तपसैव प्रपश्यन्ति त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम् ॥ २३६ ॥
The sages who control themselves and subsist on fruit, roots, and air, survey the three worlds together with their moving and immovable (creatures) through their austerities alone.
english translation
RSayaH saMyatAtmAnaH phalamUlAnilAzanAH । tapasaiva prapazyanti trailokyaM sacarAcaram ॥ 236 ॥
