पैतृस्वसेयीं भगिनीं स्वस्रीयां मातुरेव च । मातुश्च भ्रातुस्तनयां गत्वा चान्द्रायणं चरेत् ॥ १७१ ॥

sanskrit

He who has approached the daughter of his father’s sister, (who is almost equal to) a sister, (the daughter) of his mother’s sister, or of his mother’s full brother, shall perform a lunar penance.

english translation

paitRsvaseyIM bhaginIM svasrIyAM mAtureva ca | mAtuzca bhrAtustanayAM gatvA cAndrAyaNaM caret || 171 ||
