दुर्यॊधनस्यापि मतं च वेत्तुं; वक्तुं च वाक्यानि युधिष्ठिरस्य परियं मम सयाद यदि तत्र कश चिद; वरजेच छमार्थं कुरुपाण्डवानाम ॥ ५-२-४ ॥
‘I would be well pleased if someone from here, with the aim of reconciling both the Kurus and the Pandavas, undertakes a journey to learn the mind of Duryodhana and convey the views of Yudhishthira.’ ॥ 5-2-4 ॥

duryòdhanasyApi mataM ca vettuM; vaktuM ca vAkyAni yudhiSThirasya pariyaM mama sayAda yadi tatra kaza cida; varajeca chamArthaM kurupANDavAnAma ॥ 5-2-4 ॥
