कथान्तम आसाद्य च माहवेन; संघट्टिताः पाण्डव कार्यहेतॊः ते राजसिंहाः सहिता हय अशृण्वन; वाक्यं महार्थं च महॊदयं च ॥ ५-१-९ ॥
‘Having heard the conclusion of the story from Mahadeva, the assembled kings, intent on the welfare of the Pandavas, sat together on their steeds, listening attentively to the discourse, and to the words of great meaning and noble purpose.’ ॥ 5-1-9 ॥

kathAntama AsAdya ca mAhavena; saMghaTTitAH pANDava kAryahetòH te rAjasiMhAH sahitA haya azRNvana; vAkyaM mahArthaM ca mahòdayaM ca ॥ 5-1-9 ॥
